TIS Mounting Services

Adhering your print to a rigid substrate will allow you to display it as an exhibit or presentation piece. TIS can customize your mounting to any size up to 5 x 10 feet, and we can mount on materials up to 1 inch thick.

Mounting Substrates

• Foamcore – Lightweight mounting board, ideal for small indoor prints, or short-term use. Must be handled with care, as it dents easily.
• Gatorboard – Foam board sandwiched between durable, rigid fiber panels, recommended for larger prints displayed indoors. (White or Black, 3/16" or 1/2" thickness)
• Sintra – Very durable, semi-rigid PVC-based plastic, suitable for indoor or outdoor displays: White or Black, 3mm or 6mm thickness.
• Polystyrene – Low cost, thin, non-rigid plastic sheet, medium-durability.  
• Show Card –  Low cost cardboard mounting, good for smaller prints for indoor use.
• Coroplast – Rigid, lightweight plastic outdoor mounting board.
• Magnetic Vinyl – Flexible, easily removable signage for cars, trucks, boats, trailers, food carts, or any ferrous metal surface.
• Plexiglass –  Face mounting to the underside of acrylic glass makes for a very elegant way to display your print. Custom-cut, with machined edges, typically combined with "Swiss" metal hanger system.
